The final battle took place on a massive doodle map, with the entire doodle world as the backdrop. Mini and his allies faced off against the rogue doodlers, who were armed to the teeth with unlimited ammo and nitro boosts.

Similarly, the system was the game's defining movement mechanic. Every player had a jetpack, but it ran on a gauge that depleted quickly and recharged slowly. The nitro allowed for double jumps, short bursts of flight, and evasive maneuvers. Managing your nitro bar was a skill—knowing when to drop, when to fly, and when to hover was the difference between a veteran and a "noob."
