After installing the full software package from the official ScanSnap support site, open ScanSnap Home. Create a new profile named “Full OCR.” Set resolution to 300 dpi, color mode to automatic, and enable searchable PDF under OCR options. Save the profile. Now scan any contract or article – the resulting PDF will let you copy/paste text and search for keywords.
