In 2008, Interpol released , their fourth studio album, which featured the hit single "Survival Myths". This album saw the band continuing to explore new sounds, incorporating more electronic elements into their music. Paul Banks, the band's lead vocalist and guitarist, also began to develop his solo career, releasing his debut album "Bank$" (2009) . In 2010, Interpol released "Interpol IV" , a self-titled EP that hinted at a return to their earlier, more raw sound.
