"It was a different vibe," recalls Sarah Jenkins, a University of Regina graduate who used the system in the early 2010s. "You had to be so careful. If you made a mistake in pen, you had to start over. You had to physically bring it to the financial aid office or mail it and hope it didn't get lost. The printable page was where you started, but it was definitely the hardest part of the semester."
Saskatchewan Student Aid offers printable, PDF-based applications for students unable to apply through the online portal, with forms available for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 academic years. These paper applications, which include full-time, part-time, and program information forms, can be submitted via the Post-Secondary Document Uploader, the student portal, or by mail, with a processing time of up to four weeks.
