Directed by Craig Mazin (who, interestingly, went on to create HBO's Chernobyl and The Last of Us ), Superhero Movie follows the journey of Rick Riker. After being bitten by a chemically enhanced dragonfly, Rick gains superpowers and becomes "Dragonfly."
