Using past papers from 2018 onwards is the gold standard. Pre-2018 papers (1127/1125) are useful for vocabulary but differ significantly in format.
Don't just do the 1128 papers.

Furthermore, the component—a staple of 1128—is a skill best honed through past papers. Students learn to deconstruct advertisements, posters, and web pages, analyzing how fonts, colors, and layout manipulate the reader.
Tests accuracy through an Editing section, functional literacy via Situational Writing (e.g., emails or reports based on a visual text), and creative/analytical depth in Continuous Writing .
This paper tests your ability to write clearly, accurately, and appropriately for different purposes and audiences.
