She transcribes classical Arabic poetry (especially the mulaqqa of pre-Islamic poets) into digital format for a cultural foundation. Her mentor, Dr. Awn (played by veteran Jordanian actor Khalid Awn), is a paraplegic philosopher who believes poetry is "frozen motion."
