In Indian culture, family and social values are highly regarded. The concept of "family" extends beyond the immediate relatives to include the entire community. Indians place great emphasis on respect for elders, tradition, and social hierarchy. The joint family system, though changing, is still prevalent in many parts of India, where multiple generations live together under one roof. This close-knit family structure fosters a sense of unity, cooperation, and mutual support.

Dadi, a master weaver of traditional Indian garments, had spent hours preparing for the festival. She had created beautiful sarees and salwar kameez for Rohan's mother and sister, and was now busy helping Rohan pick out a new outfit for the special occasion.

India has a rich tradition of art, music, and dance. The country is home to various classical and folk music traditions, such as Carnatic, Hindustani, and Sufi music. Indian classical dance forms like Bharatanatyam, Kathak, and Odissi are highly revered, while folk dances like Bhangra, Garba, and Lavani are an integral part of rural life. The visual arts, including painting, sculpture, and architecture, have also played a significant role in Indian culture, with examples like the Taj Mahal, Ajanta Caves, and Khajuraho temples.
