The first episode of Bir Litre Gözyaşı (One Liter of Tears) introduces Cihan Yürekli, a high school senior starting her dream university life. While her mother, Figen, starts to notice Cihan's increasing clumsiness, Cihan is diagnosed with an incurable, progressive brain disease called Cerebellar Degeneration.
